Lure: PikuPiku Pintail, GIGAAJI JIGHEAD

 

Field testing PikuPiku Pintail 3″ and 3.5″ in Fukui prefecture.
We caught many different species of fish, Thread-sail filefish, Youing yellowtail,
deep-sea porgy. and soo on.

 

 
After sunset, we targeted horse mackerel.
PikuPiku Pintail produced results, but they need more improvement.

◆Jighead: GIGA AJI JIG HEAD

 

Windy day fishing for Marbled rockfish.
Strong headwind at low tide.
The water depth was about 50cm ～ 3m.
Under such conditions, PikuPiku Pintail produced results.

Cast GIGA AJI JIG HEAD　0.7g　+　PikuPiku Pintail2.5″ / Wacky Jig Head.
After it hit the bottom, I let it move along the surface of rocks to find fish.I caught my first fish of the day!!

 

After that, fish hit the lure but not the hook.
It suddenly became cold a couple of weeks ago.
Cold water made them move slowly.
I targeted only active ones and cast Wacky Jig Head.
The total catch of the day was 4 fish.

Fishing in the shallow waters during the morning as the bass were feeding.
I cast DACE 160 and retrieved very slowly.
It’s exciting to catch fish on big baits.

DD GALAXXY Blue Panther GXY-C65MLF is a perfect rod for fishing metal vibration lures 1/4oz.
Lift and Fall technique was very effective and I was able to catch largemouth bass.
I also worked the rod to move the bait up and down in the middle depth as I retrieved my bait.
By using this technique, I caught two more fish!

Fishing lake Biwa with the new worm Portio.
Winter fishing is tough, but they attracted fish’s attention and I had a lot of bites.
My fishing buddy caught a lot of largemouth bass including two nice ones on Portio.
