Cold air blows across Lake Biwa.
It’s still winter at the lake.
Geecrack field tester Mr. Yasui caught fish on German Jig 1/2 oz + Gyrostar 4.8 inch.It was over 50cm in length!

Then he caught nice fish on SUGURI60SP North Wave Original color # KOHOKU SONAR-BLUE.
He said the color is highly effective at this time of year.
He really recommends it as largemouth bass grabs the bait well.

And he caught one more fish on German Jig 1/2 oz + Gyrostar 4.8 inch.It was over 45cm in length.
Look at the picture. He set the hook firmly deep in the upper jaw.

It was sunny but got cloudy sometimes, and it was a little bit windy.
Fishing wasn’t easy but I found a fish swimming in and out the shallow area.
I wanted to cast when the water ruffled.
I waited till the sun came up in order to see well underwater.

I cast my lure to the reed and waited until it swam to it.
The fish I caught was not so big, but I’am satisfied with it.

The Japan Meteorological Agency announced that the first strong wind of spring blew into Japan.
The strong southern wind caused water to be muddy and the condition was good for largemouth bass to start getting active.
I didn’t catch big fish, but it was a good start of the the new fishing season.
