Peak season of rockfish.
It’s important to “Match the Hatch” so that my lure imitates young surfperch or rockfish.
I chose SPIRON. A male Greenling which was displaying its nuptial coloration was caught.
After that I cast DECKER.
Female Greenling was caught on it. It was big and really heavy.
There were a lot of Blowfish as always and worms were damaged during fishing,
but SAF material was really effective and I was able to catch nice fish on Iron Shad and MAD SHAKER as well.
