Field report from Mr. Yasui(Lake Biwa fishing guide.)
Fishing was not easy but I had 7 or 8 bites on G-Crawler5.8 1/20 oz Neko rig.
The biggest one was around 50 cm in length.
It’s the beginning of spring, sometimes bass bite very lightly.
Use lighter nail sinker and give a lure very little action or no action.
Then give it a long pause to entice a fish to strike.
That’s the key technique for ctaching early spring bass on Neko rig.

It was a chilly spring day but the G-Crawler5.8 / Neko rig worked well as usual.
I gave it a long pause and caught some bigger fish which were over 50cm(58cm, 55cm, 53cm).
As spring has just started and the water temperature is still low.
The important key to catching bass is giving your lure a very long pause.
