Field report / Rock fish caught on PIROPIRO shad

Date : 2016 November 26
Place : Atsumi Peninsula in Aich prefecture / Japan
Lure : PIROPIRO shad(NEON-IWASHI) + GIGA AJI Jig head(0.7g)

I read an online fishing report ,
“Fishing the tip of Atsumi Peninsula.”
Results for a lot of horse mackerel”

I prepared AJI( horse mackerel) DOROBOU SERIES worms for catching horse mackerel and went to Atsumi Peninsula, but not the tip of it.
Sadly I couldn’t find any schools of horse mackerel there, but instead, I caught rockfish on PIROPIRO shad.
They responded well and I caught 6 of them!!

They were not so big, but I got a lot more confident in rockfish fishing than I used to.
I will use AJI DOROBOU SERIES worms for light salt game fishing and catch different species of fish.

The lure he used was GOEMON SUTTE # CHART GLOW STRIP.
16.13kg monster squid!!!

Field report / Potbellied fat greenling

Lure : GYROSTAR 3.5 (# WEED-FLASH) / EBIDAMA 1/2oz(# SOLID RED)
Rod : DOUBLEDUTCH DD-72MH SPANKY

 

Fishing for fat greenling.
It’s in the middle of rockfish spawning season.
Many different species of fish were there.

I cast a voluminous lure EBIDAMA 1/2oz ＋ GYROSTAR for catching big fat greenling.
I cast again and again and had a bite!
It was about a depth of 1m, the are of sand with seaweeds.
Big fat greenling was caught on EBIDAMA 1/2oz ＋ GYROSTAR!!!
It was potbellied and 48cm in length.

EBIDAMA reduces the chances of getting snagged and is very effective for rockfish fishing.
